Exposing BW Data out of HANA using the XS WAS

Im refering to an BW over HANA DB implementation.

the data is in the BW schema, can i create my own views and expose it thourgh XSJS to a UI in XS?

i know they have been changes to that particular setting which allows to expose data to the likes of Lumira or Explorer, but XS?
