how to develop custom Fiori App

Hi Fiori experts,

I am new to Fiori. Some general stupid questions in my mind:

1. In SAP GUI SE80 or some other tranaction, can I develop my own Fiori apps?  Or can I only use Eclipse to develop custom Fiori apps?

2. As I understand, Fiori based on MVC pattern: model and controller are ABAP OO class in back-end system, while for view, we should use HTML5 script codes to develop it. Am I right?
