Unable to populate (suggest) SearchField and show the list on trigger of an event.

Dear Experts,

I have two SearchFields in my UI5 screen and my requirement is to populate (suggest) second SearchField, when we select a value in the first SearchField. Retrieving data on selecting value from first SeachField goes fine, but unable to populate and list the values in second SearchField through suggest method. I enabled the option showListExpander and enableListSuggest set to true, but still not working. Can someone please let me know, how to achieve that ?
