You can follow below steps for using rules in CTM:

In 'Customizing for Global ATP' do steps 1 to 5:

1. Create Condition Tables
2. Create Access Sequences.
3. Create Condition Types
4. Maintain Rule Strategies.
5. Assign the Rule Strategies to the Activation Parameters.
6. In CTM Customizing under Make Settings for Rules-Based Planning, choose the groups of activation parameters
7. Access rule maintenance from the CTM profile. You create a rule by entering information for possible substitutions and constraints.
8. From the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Master Data >> Rule Maintenance>>Create Rule Determination and create rule determination
9. In the CTM profile on tab Strategies >> Special Strategies, make the settings for rule application in CTM planning
10. In the CTM profile, execute a simulation for demand prioritization and display the demands
11. Execute CTM run
